London Fashion Week 2010

Law school has taken it's toll and I realize I'm a little behind in the fashion week schedule, but better late than never. And in all honesty, I don't really feel like I missed much by missing some of London's Fashion Week. There are only a handful of designs / designers I find worth sharing with you, but the one's I'm sharing with you are fantastic. Nevertheless, here are the designs I enjoyed and my votes for best collection and best piece.

Best Collection: Burberry Prorsum (shocking, I know)
Best Single Piece: Burberry (#4)

London Fashion Week 2010

Burberry Prorsum

House of Holland

Twenty8Twelve

 Vivienne Westwood red label

While I obviously had to give the edge to Burberry (how do I not), Vivienne Westwood's red label really impressed me (although the model's face makeup did not). And while I'm almost never a fan of mixing patterns and prints (mainly because it almost never works), Vivienne Westwood's collection really knocked the ball out of the park if you're ever going to try it. I especially like the second piece; the color combination is one I never would have chosen but really enjoy nonetheless.

A few things grabbed my attention but London was no where near the level I wanted it to be. Stay tuned for Milan!
