April 2013 [Non-Beauty] Favorites

TV Show: Friday Night Lights
I don't even know what to say about this show. I was never skeptical about it because how can I not like a show about football, but I didn't think I would fall in love with it as much and as fast as I did. All 5 seasons are on Netflix, so I recommend it as your next show to watch. Tim Riggins, Tami (Tammy) Taylor, & Texas forever.

Movie: I don't think I watched an entire movie all month because all I did was watch Friday Night Lights. So here is my TV spirit animal, Connie Britton. I feel like she is me in 20+ years.

Sweet Food: Haagen Dazs Orchard Peach Sorbet
I'm normally not big on peach flavored things, but for some reason this looked amazing in the grocery store so I got it and love it. It's so good that Emily decided she needed to eat all of mine one day and went to buy me another one. So yummy.

Savory Food: Kerby Melts
Chicken. Cheese. Pita. Ranch. In the best, best way.

Restaurant: Kerby's Coney Island
One of the perks of moving back to Michigan is this restaurant, and my ability to eat the aforementioned savory food. They do it best, besides National Coney Island.

Starbucks Drink: Nothing new here, although during finals I've decided that 4 shots of espresso is appropriate, as opposed to 3.

Candle: Bath & Body Works 'Villa Bergamont'
Aside from being a gorgeous candle container, the smell is right up my alley. 'Aromatic bergamot grown in the warm and sunny Calabria region of Italy inspired this elegant citrus blend that also includes lavender and geranium.'

Song: 'Dance With Me Tonight' by Olly Murs
I'm a sucker for a catchy pop song, and this has been playing on repeat in my car so I can jam out regularly.

Website: LexisNexis.com
What a weird website for my favorite website, right? For those of you who don't know, it's a legal search engine for case law and statutes, among a lot of other things. But the reason it's my favorite is because I accumulated enough points over time (a law school student benefit) to buy myself an Apple TV. Yes, a $100 Apple TV. For free. It has been completely game-changing. Thanks, Lexis!

Person: Shhhhhh, this one's a secret. I can't tell y'all everything, but I promise this person is definitely worthy of the title.

Um, as an aside, where did April go? I graduate in less than a week. Holy moly. Hope y'all had a fabulous month!
