March [Beauty & Fashion] Favorites

So I suck, because I started videos and then 3L and it's incredibly demanding lazy factor took over and I stopped filming. I'm hoping to be back on the bandwagon soon... but it might just not be happening this month with finals, graduation, etc. Don't hate me. But I still wanted to do a post about my beauty & fashion favorites for March.

Burberry Lipgloss in No. 19 Mallow Pink (get it here!)
This was a New York purchase, but because it's such a vibrant color, I really didn't get much of a chance to start wearing it until now. I really like the consistency of Burberry glosses - this is my first one! The pigmentation and staying power are also both incredible.

L'Oreal Telescopic Shocking Extensions Mascara (get it here!)
I've been known to try most new mascaras and I gave this one a shot. I really like it a lot; it defines my lashes really well and has a really long, thin brush. I've been using it a lot this month, but I have a feeling I'll still go back to some old standbys after this - it's not replacing any of those!

MAC 'Hey SailorHighlight Powder (limited edition)
I got this at a CCO in Las Vegas after the limited edition collection was released while I was in Europe last summer. It's supposedly a highlighting powder but I actually use it as a blush because it comes out very pink and not so highlighting. As a blush, it's a beautiful pink shade and I've been using it to transition to spring.

Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm in Yummy Plummy
I finally hunted down this limited edition shade at my Ulta and it's actually not a plum color. It's more of a mauve color, which is fine because I need another berry shade like I need a hole in the head. I love all the of the Maybelline Baby Lips so this is a great addition to my growing collection.

L'Oreal Elnett Stain Extra-Hold Hairspray (get it here!)
The holy grail hair spray. I don't know how I didn't own it before? It's finally made its way over from Europe and now I'll probably be alternating between that and my Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Touchable hairspray for the rest of my life. Also, get the unscented version - the smell is kind of strong & foul.

Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Salt Spray (get it here!)
I have been using salt spray like crazy this past month. It's fantastic for helping throw up second (or third...) day hair into a hot-mess bun. You definitely get a great deal with the Not Your Mother's. It's only $5.99 at Ulta!

Jeffrey Campbell Lita Boot in Black (get them here!)
You either love these or hate these (ahem, little sister Holly). I love them. They are 5 inches tall (making me a solid 5'10 when I wear them) & they are actually really comfortable to wear out. They look best with leggings or tights in my opinion, but I've also worn them with dark skinnies and loved them. They're super versatile too!

Rubbish Boyfriend Shirt in Black (get it here!)
I have been obsessed with button downs lately (if you haven't noticed in my weekend picture updates). This one is great because it's lightweight, long, and can be tied up really easily for multiple styles.

Cowboy Boots from Boot Country (on Broadway in Nashville, TN)
I finally caved and got a pair of real cowboy boots (not a Steve Madden or Aldo pair) from Nashville. A few of us went in on the Buy 1, Get 2 Free sale at Boot Country in Nashville, which is something they always have going on. Seriously, how do you turn that down!? I got a pair of almost $200 cowboy boots for $65. Score!

I cannot believe we are already almost halfway into April and that I'm graduating in three weeks. Where has 2013 gone so fast? Let me know what some of your beauty & fashion favorites have been this month!

  1. I've been wanting to get those Jeffrey Campbell boots..obsessed!

Thanks for leaving a message! xox
