January 2014 [Beauty & Fashion] Favorites

Beauty
Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette (get it here!)
The 3rd installment of Urban Decay's Naked Palettes arrived just before Christmas, and while I don't find myself reaching for it as often as my Naked 2, it has the most beautiful rose gold shades and is definitely different enough to justify owning it if you own one of the other palettes.

Kiehl's Ulta Facial Oil-Free Lotion (get it here!)
I got a sample of this face lotion when I was signed up for a subscription box, and I actually fell in love with it so much that I went out and bought a full sized one (which is huge considering the price). It's lightweight but still moisturizes my face really well, and it's unscented for any of you who are sensitive to fragrances.

Bath & Body Works Body Lotion in Beautiful Day (get it here!)
This is my new go-to B&BW scent. Despite the name that I'm not crazy about, it smells amazing. It's described as "beautiful as the perfect spring day with sun-kissed apple, wild daisies & fresh pink peonies". B&BW also boasts that their lotions have a new moisturizing formula, which I can actually attest to having used their old ones for so long.

Maybelline Color Elixir Lip Color in Signature Scarlet & Amethyst Potion (get them here!)
I have been way more into lipsticks than glosses recently, but these are awesome. Their staying power isn't all that great as they're a gloss, but they're super pigmented, shiny, and non-sticky. These two shades below are my two favorites of the collection.

L'Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara (get it here!)
This is my new favorite drugstore mascara, and I've been recommending it to everyone that asks for it. It has a synthetic, wiry brush (which I prefer to the bigger, fluffy brushes), and it wings out at the end (like a butterfly... clever, right?). I recommended it to my sister and a few weeks later I saw her lashes looking amazing and asked her what she used. Surprise, surprise, it was that mascara.

Nivea Lip Butter in Vanilla & Macadamia Kiss (get it here!)
Oh my god. I just bought this a week ago, but it needed to go into my monthly favorites because I have been using it non-stop. It is the most moisturizing, yummy, amazing lip product I've ever used. I had seen a bunch of beauty bloggers recommend it and I just never got on the bandwagon, but I can't even say enough about this. I would normally never even go for this flavor but it's incredible. And the best part is that it's $2.99 at Ulta, so naturally I own 2.

Fashion
BP. Trolley Black Leather Ankle Boot (get them here!)
The classic black leather ankle boot. I bought a pair of Steve Madden ones originally that literally tore my ankle apart (I have about a 4 inch scar from where they dug into my skin). These are comfortable, classic, and can be dressed up or down. For the price, I can't recommend them enough. Also, be sure to order a 1/2 size up; they run small.

BaubleBar Delphine Bib Necklace (get it here!)
I have become a legit BaubleBar addict incase you missed that memo & it's pretty much where I buy all of my jewelry now. This is definitely my favorite statement necklace & I get so many compliments when I wear it.

Rebecca Minkoff M.A.C. in Plum  So after getting a Mini M.A.C. in a neutral color, I also wanted one in a fun color but couldn't justify spending the money. Then, a miracle happened and Zappos was selling the M.A.C. for cheaper than the Mini M.A.C. in some of their colored bags, when normally it's $100 more. So naturally, I jumped on it. Unfortunately, they aren't selling them at that price anymore, and they don't have my shade on their site, but if you look around online you might be able to find it somewhere!

BaubleBar Love Necklace (get it here!)
Yep, another BaubleBar necklace. Shocking. Tiffany's sells this exact necklace in silver for way more, and I got it in gold for $32. It is so dainty and the perfect necklace to add to a casual outfit. It comes in silver, gold, and rose gold, but I think gold is the prettiest (although I have been on a serious gold kick recently).

What have been your favorites in the beginning of 2014 so far? Let me know below, I always love trying new products that y'all tell me about!
