Warby Parker Spring Line 2014 + VOTE on My Best Look

I was contacted a few weeks ago by Brian Magida from Warby Parker, who asked if I wanted to review and write a post about their new Spring 2014 line. If I'm being honest, I didn't know too much about the concept behind Warby Parker prior to speaking with him, but Ben actually knew a ton about it and thinks it's a great company.

The basic idea behind Warby Parker is inexpensive, fashionable, prescription eyewear. As long as you don't have super messed up eyes like me that require a progressive prescription, you can get a pair of frames with prescription lenses included for as low as $95. If you wear glasses, you know how incredible of a price this is! That doesn't include insurance discounts, so if you don't have vision insurance, you can get affordable glasses that still look awesome.

Because it's an online eyewear website, they let you order up to 5 pairs of frames to get sent to your house as a part of their 'home try-on' program. You get 5 pairs of frames for 5 days to test out. Then once you decide the frames you like, you send them all back and order the pair you want with your prescription in it. It's that easy! Also of note, Warby Parker has implemented a program called 'Do Good', where like TOMs shoes, they donate a pair of glasses to someone in need for every pair of glasses bought. Concepts like these are so awesome to support, because it's something you might want to order anyway!

The Spring 2014 line was recently released, and they have some amazing frames out. I got three of them to try on and review, and I actually love a pair that I never in a million years thought I would have. In any event, I want y'all to let me know which ones you like best. Even though my prescription is too expensive to have them put my lenses in for me, I can buy a pair and have my ophthalmologist do it. So help me choose out of these three frames!

Frame: Kimball
Color: Whiskey Tortoise

If I'm being honest, I feel like I kind of look like Harry Potter, but some people can really pull these off. My guess is it's going to be someone with darker hair/complexion, because they won't be as contrasting or harsh.

Frame: Seymour
Color: Sage

I don't know if you can tell these are a dark green on my face, but it's a very flattering color on (more so than you might think just looking at them online). I was convinced once I received them/before I took pictures that these would be my favorite pair, but I'm definitely torn. They are for sure the most conservative pair out of the three.

Frame: Burke
Color: Sugar Maple

Based on looking at these, I really didn't think I was going to like them or that they'd be flattering on me. For any of you who haven't known me for a long time, I wore enormous, plastic glasses when I was little & it haunts me. I never expected to pick up another pair & actually like them, but these took me by complete surprise.
