July 2014 [Beauty & Fashion] Favorites

Beauty
Benefit 'They're Real' Push Up Liner (get it here!)
So people have been giving this liner mixed reviews, but with some practice, it is an awesome matte-finish liquid/gel liner. The applicator lets you get really close to your lash line & makes for a great subdued cat eye.

Dry Bar Mai Tai Spritzer Sea Salt Spray (get it here!)
I've heard nothing but good things about DryBar so I figured their products are probably equally amazing. I picked up their sea salt spray to replace my Not Your Mother's sea salt spray, and I've been loving it recently. It's a no-nonsense salt spray with great, sleek packaging.

MAC Paint Pot in Rubenesque (get it here!)
People have always raved about this paint pot and I just never picked it up until recently. It's a gold/rose gold metallic color that goes on the lids flawlessly. It's perfect on it's own or underneath a warm-toned shadow.

LORAC Pro 2 Palette (get it here!)
Dare I say this is better than the original LORAC Pro? I'm not even totally sure how that would be possible, but I am so in love with this palette. It has the perfect amount of fall-colored jewel tones, and I also love the 8 shimmer/8 matte shade combo, because it is perfect for creating dozens of different looks. If you don't have a Pro palette yet, I recommend this one (especially if you have one of the Urban Decay Naked palettes). If you have the first, getting the second is definitely justified!

Jo Malone Cologne Collection (get it here!)
I bought this during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and never looked back. I love all of the scents so much and layering them has become my new favorite thing. Orange Blossom & Peony and Blush Suede together are a perfume dream team. Plus they're in cute mini travel-sized bottles!

Marc Jacobs Kiss Pop Lip Color Stick in Pop Rock (get it here!)
This looks like a bright fire-engine red, but it is actually an orange red. I never wear orange-reds because they don't usually flatter me, so when I found one that did (and was matte nonetheless!), I knew I had found a winner. People are giving these lip products mixed reviews, but as long as you go in knowing they're matte and not intended to be hydrating like advertised, they're great!

Marc Jacobs O!Mega Lash Volumizing Mascara (get it here!)
When testing out the new Marc Jacobs line, I also picked up his new mascara. I have become sort of a mascara junkie lately and I have no idea how that happened, since I never even used to wear it until my senior year of college. In any event, this is a great, fluffy-brushed mascara (and the packaging is amazing). I don't usually like the big-bristled brushes, but this one is great and the formula is long-lasting too.

Essie Urban Jungle Nail Polish (get it here!)
We have found the holy grail of all nudes, and spoiler alert, it isn't an OPI color. I know, who am I? But seriously, it does not get better than this Essie shade. Allison Anderson turned me onto this and I am never going back. I didn't know it was possible to beat Sand Tropez (also an Essie color), but Urban Jungle blew it out of the water. It may not look impressive in the bottle, but I promise it is on the nails!

Fashion
Athleta Cosmic Chaturanga Shortie (get them here!)
I know I just talked about some Zella hot yoga shorts last month, but these are also amazing and worth mentioning (and a bit cheaper too!).  They're super soft also - so soft that sometimes when I come home from work, I throw them on instead of sweatpants. Don't tell.

BaubleBar Acid Blossom Collar (get it here!)
I waited for months for this to come back in stock, and it finally did (which probably means someone decided that they didn't like it, but I don't even care). I love this necklace and I instantly regretted not buying it back in April or May when I first saw it. So glad I have it now!

ASICS Gel Kayano 20 Running Shoe in Blue/Black/Pink (get them here!)
I always get my running shoes every year from the Nordstrom anniversary sale. I wear the ASICS Gel Kayano running shoes because I have flat feet, and these are the ASICS made for runners with flat feet. I usually buy a new pair every year or two because my tread on the shoes is worn by then. Nordstrom has had some killer colors the last few years, and this year's did not disappoint!

Zella 'Double the Fun' Headband (get it here!)
It's a double-strapped headband that's perfect for working out. Comes in a million colors and doesn't slip on your head at all.

What were your favorites this last month? Let me know below (especially some good fashion ones!)
