May 2015 Beauty & Fashion Favorites

Kiehl's Grapefruit Bath & Shower Liquid Body Cleanser (get it here!)
I wanted a liquid body wash instead of always using my bar of soap from LUSH, and I realized that Bath and Body Works shower gels were irritating my sensitive skin (how annoying, right). I knew Kiehl's would have a product that I both loved and was going to be good on my skin. This was the perfect fit, and the grapefruit scent is amazing (obviously).

Josie Maran Argan Enlightenment Illuminizing Wand (get it here!)
I kind of fell off my highlighting game when I got bored with my Dior Amber Diamond Highlighting powder. Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful, but I've been using it for legitimately years. When I swatched this little beauty in the store, I had to have it. It's a cream highlighting stick that is actually idiot proof. It also has the most beautiful glowing sheen to it, and I cannot get enough of it.

FRESH Sugar Lip Treatment in Ruby (get it here!)
No secret that I'm obsessed with the FRESH Sugar Lip Treatments, and this is my newest one. It's a muted bright pink that sheers out upon application. It still has great pigmentation but it is definitely not opaque, making it very low maintenance.

Origins GinZing Refreshing Scrub Cleanser (get it here!)
I needed a new facial cleanser for the shower to use with my Boscia charcoal sponge, and I like this one so far. It's called a scrub but the beads are super fine, almost not noticeable. I wouldn't use this if you're looking for an exfoliating scrub, but it's great as an everyday cleanser. Plus it smells great!

Laura Mercier Creme de Pistache Scrub (get it here!)
This stuff is probably my favorite favorite of the month. I have been looking for some scrubs and lotions to combat the KP I have on my upper arms, and this stuff came highly recommended for that as well as an amazing all-over body scrub. I normally don't like candles/lotions/scrubs/soap that smell like food, because it ends up ultimately making me nauseous, but this pistachio scent is actually amazing. On top of that, the granules in the scrub don't just disappear when you scrub it on your skin. You can keep rubbing it on your body until you feel ready to rinse it off, and the granules will still be there until you rinse them. This stuff comes with a decently hefty price tag ($50), but it comes in a beautiful glass jar and it will last a very long time.

Caudalie Gycollic Peel (get it here!)
Caudalie released a new line of masks, and this is the first one that I tried. It instantly made my skin feel soft and appear brighter. It's described as a two-in-one treatment peel that diminishes dark spots and provides instant radiance. It claims to tighten pores, reduce oil, renew skin texture, and provide an immediate burst of radiance to your complexion in as little as 10 minutes. I have left my masks on anywhere from 10-20 minutes and get great results every time.

Rebecca Minkoff Palo Alto Brief Case (get it here!)
So  I got the new Macbook and was looking for a briefcase to carry it around in when I travel / want to go do work on it somewhere. This is the perfect briefcase for it. It's chic, durable, and looks like a gigantic Rebecca Minkoff MAC bag. It even has a padded back zip pocket that fits my computer in it perfectly with room to spare. My only complaint is that it doesn't fit a ton of other things in the main compartment (I like to carry a lot of bulky shit I've noticed), but Ben kindly reminded me that briefcases are for paper, and not for me to carry 3 bottles of water, a bag of makeup, and a gigantic sunglasses case. I got it in black, but it comes in light brown and blue as well. Blue is stunning but I snagged it in black during a Hautelook Sale and got it for 40% off! The trick now is to finding them around the internet; they seem to be out of stock everywhere! sells the blue one right now, so if you like that color, that's where I recommend getting it!
