July 2015 Beauty & Fashion Favorites

Bumble and Bumble Don't Blow It (get it here!)
This has been by far my favorite beauty find in the last few months. I am the laziest when it comes to my hair, and I would always prefer to let it air dry if I can. However, if I need it to be presentable, that didn't used to be an option because it would frizz out like you wouldn't believe and then just fall totally limp. This product is a total game-changer. After I shower and put in my leave-in conditioner, I apply a quarter-sized amount to my hair in scrunching motions, like you would with gel or mousse. Sometimes I put it up in a clip to give it a little time to sit in the waves, and sometimes I don't (my hair has a very tiny amount of natural wave to it, but otherwise is pretty much perfectly straight). Then I just let my hair air dry, and the next morning I have air-dried hair that has a slight wave and some volume to it. I can't rave about this stuff enough!

First Aid Beauty Vitamin Hydrating Mist (get it here!)
I feel a little bit more justified in owning this versus the Evian Mist (which is literally just a $7.50 tiny tube of water), because this mist contains vitamins and minerals that are good for your skin (specifically B, C, and E). It smells great, feels incredibly refreshing (especially at or after the beach), and it also doubles as a makeup setting spray in a pinch.

Milani Baked Powder Blush in 05 Luminoso (get it here!)
This is a great drugstore summer blush that reminds me of a peachier version of NARS Orgasm. It is peachy pink with gold shimmery undertones & gives tan skin a beautiful glow.

Benefit They're Real Mascara in Beyond Brown (get it here!)
I love the They're Real line by Benefit and am so excited that they expanded the colors. The mascara now also comes in blue and brown, and I picked up the brown for days I didn't want to do a full face of eye makeup and make my look a little bit less striking & harsh.

Tarte Energy Noir Clay Palette (get it here!)
It has been a very long time since I've bought an eyeshadow palette that wasn't the LORAC Pro palette or a Naked palette. However, when this palette got released, it attracted me for two reasons: the variety and kind of eyeshadows in the palette, plus the fact that it include a blush and highlighter, which coupled with its small size make it incredibly travel-friendly. I've been loving it so far!

Mural Cape Blazer (get it here!)
I have gotten so many compliments every time I wear this cape blazer. I have the original blazer (not cape-style) in white, black, and pink, and when this cape came out, I jumped on it immediately. I'm actually obsessed with this cape and it has become by far my favorite summer fashion purchase.

BaubleBar Gold Kocoum Bib Necklace (get it here!)
A close second in fashion favorites in the last few months has been this necklace (pictured right with my cape). I've been saying that my white cape lets me channel my inner Olivia Pope badass, and when I wear this necklace I'm channeling Khaleesi. The combination is flawless.

Frame Denim 'Le Color Rip' White Skinny Jeans (get them here!)
I actually was hunting for a pair of super ripped black skinny jeans for the fall, and I stumbled across these in the process. They are the best white skinny jeans I've ever found (which shouldn't shock me for the hefty price tag...), and the rips are perfect. I'll be wearing them right through to Labor Day.
