College Football Week 6: #Harbaugheddon

Y'all. You heard it hear first. It's #Harbaugheddon. We are up to three straight shut-outs and 97 unanswered points. Michigan State, we're coming for you.

GAMES YOU MISSED: WEEK 6

Week 6 started off with Washington's upset against (17) USC, beating them 17-12 (making the importance of Notre Dame / USC next week very little other than to ND's ego). Then, there was Charlie Strong saving his job by helping Texas defeat (10) Oklahoma 24-17 in an astounding Red River Rivalry game. Tennessee also upset (19) Georgia at the 11th hour 38-31 (further proving my point that no one is good [well... almost no one]). Then there were some very near misses for some ranked teams: (2) TCU rallied back to defeat unranked Kansas State 52-45. (21) Oklahoma State came back to beat West Virginia 33-26 in overtime. And then there was (4) Michigan State vs. Rutgers. Rutgers almost had the lead the entire game, until they blew it in the 4th quarter. And when I say blew it, I mean really blew it. On 4th down, when they had enough time for one last Hail Mary pass, the Rutgers QB spiked the ball. Yes, spiked. the. ball. He lost track of downs and cost his team the game with a final score of 31-24.

But of course, the best game of the weekend was my wolverines, (18) Michigan, taking down (13) Northwestern in a 38-0 shutout. Michigan got points on the board from their offense, defense and special teams. I could not have been happier with how they played. Also, #Harbaugheddon.

F/M/K
FIRE: Bob Stoops
As a top 10 team, you lost to one of the worst Texas teams in history. You're done.

MARRY: Michigan's Defensive Line
For keeping the shutout streak alive and giving Michigan an amazing statistic of 97 unanswered points.

KILL: Rutgers Quarterback Chris Laviano
See above. Because this moron lost track of how to count to 4 and did this:

GAMES TO WATCH: WEEK 7

College Gameday is coming to Ann Arbor for Michigan/MSU (which is pretty awesome considering a top-10 SEC match up was also an option), & I'm going to do my best to be there. Either way, both of my teams have huge games on Saturday.

Roll Tide & GO BLUE.
