College Football Week 4: Down Goes The Mad Hatter

GAMES YOU MISSED

(1) Alabama handedly beat Kent State 48-0, and (4) Michigan gave Penn State a loss 49-10 (after Michigan quarterback Wilton Speight admitted to running the same play eight times against their defense). In an outcome that surprised most, (11) Wisconsin took down (8) Michigan State in East Lansing, 30-6, scoring almost all off their points on turn-overs by Michigan State. (23) Ole Miss proved for sure that Kirby Smart's first year isn't going so hot at (12) Georgia by demolishing them 45-14 (which definitely didn't surprise me after their almost-loss to Nicholls). And then there was (18) LSU vs Auburn. Auburn was winning almost the entire game, and then in true Les Miles fashion, the Mad Hatter planned a play to get a last-second, game-winning touchdown. Only he didn't, as the play didn't get off until time had already expired. So LSU lost the game and Les Miles lost his job.

F/M/K

FIRE: Les Miles
Because he was literally fired after their game-winning touchdown against Auburn was overturned because they didn't get the play off before the clock hit :00.

MARRY: Ole Miss - as a whole
Because they finally exposed Georgia & how not good they are.

KILL: Mark Dantonio
Because their game against Wisconsin should not have been a 30-6 loss.

GAMES TO WATCH

FRIDAY
(7) Stanford @ (10) Washington, 9PM, ESPN

SATURDAY
(4) Michigan vs. (8) Wisconsin, 3:30PM ABC
(11) Tennessee @ (25) Georgia, 3:30PM CBS
(1) Alabama vs. Kentucky, 7PM ESPN
(3) Louisville @ (5) Clemson, 8PM ABC

Obviously, Michigan is the second-biggest game of the weekend behind Louisville/Clemson, and whoever loses both games is likely out of play-off contention. Alabama should have another cake-walk week before playing a ranked team next weekend. Roll Tide & GO BLUE.
