August & September 2016 Beauty & Fashion Favorites

So, this should be a testament to how little I spent in August & September. Ben has been on me about my shopping problem (and maybe rightfully so), but if I can only have two new favorites for the last two months, it means I'm not doing that much spending. Basically, I'm just crushing at life over here.

Kerastase L'incroyable Blowdry Miracle Reshape Heat Lotion (get it here!)
So, without getting into too much detail on how little I wash my hair (I will save that accomplishment for another post), I don't wash it very often. It's bad for your hair and also I'm lazy and don't like doing it. This stuff has extended my blowdrys even longer than before. I couldn't figure out why all of a sudden I could goso much longer, but I realized that this was the only addition to my hair routine (my stylist gave it to me as a gift while I was home back in July). I never would have thought to buy it on my own, but it is now a staple/holy grail product for me - it's already replaced my Bumble and Bumble blowdry cream (which all of you know I love).

Suave Professionals Refresh & Revive Dry Shampoo (get it here!)
I was sent this dry shampoo to test by Influenster. Normally, I'm insanely partial to my Batiste, which I constantly have on hand in my bathroom. This is the first drugstore dry shampoo that even comes close. It actually works! While I do like Batiste better, this is a close second and I would definitely buy it in the alternative. Plus, it smells like tropical fruit.

Ray-Ban 'Original Aviator' 58mm Polarized Sunglasses (get them here!)
These were my 'congratulations on your new job' present from Ben (that I got myself, obviously). I love them, and they look a bit more professional than my blue mirrored ones.

invisibobble POWER the strong grip hair ring (get it here!)
My new absolute favorite hair tie. Yes, you can have a favorite hair tie. Yes, you only get 3 for $9, but they're much harder to lose (they look like the bungee cords you put on your keys to wear around your wrist) and they work.
